Licensed Massage Therapist — Full-Time W2 | Work-Life Balance Is a Priority
$55,000–$65,000+ total compensation | Ithaca, NY
A Massage Therapy Job Designed to Be Sustainable
Are you a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist who loves helping people—but doesn't want to spend your career physically and emotionally exhausted?
We are hiring 1-2 NYS Licensed Massage Therapist for a permanent W2 position in our growing medical massage practice.
Our philosophy is simple: taking care of clients shouldn't require sacrificing your own health and well-being.
This position is intentionally structured around a sustainable workload. We do not believe that the best therapist is the one who sees the most clients.
You can expect approximately 10–15 treatment sessions per week, generally no more than 3–4 sessions per day, with time between appointments to step away, reset, hydrate, document, and prepare for your next client.
We want this to be a place where you can build a long-term career—not burn out after a few years.

Our Approach to Preventing Burnout
We intentionally limit treatment volume because we believe therapists do better work when they aren't running from one appointment to the next.
We make room in the day to breathe, reset, eat, hydrate, complete documentation, and mentally transition between clients.
You won't be expected to fill every available appointment slot.
You won't be pressured to constantly increase your treatment volume.
And you won't be left alone to handle the administrative side of running a practice.
Our goal is for you to finish your workday feeling like you still have something left in the tank.

You'll work with clients seeking pain relief through individualized medical massage treatment plans.
